The Tech Council of Maryland (TCM) is Maryland's largest technology trade association which brings the region’s technology and life science companies together into a single, united organization that empowers its 400 plus members by providing them with a forum in which they can expand their business and increase revenues by connecting with like-minded enterprises, sharing information, learning from industry experts and influencing public policy. TCM’s mission is to promote the technology and life science industry to create an environment where they can collaborate, grow and succeed.

The evening recognizes the leaders and innovators in the technology and life science communities from Maryland and the surrounding regions.

The audience represents technology, life science, government, academia, and supporting industries.

The evening includes networking, dinner and awards celebration.

The look and feel for this signature event changes each year. We like something new each year.

We used the TCM logo until 2011 when we designed a logo specifically for the event. For 2 years the logo looked like an award. 2013 was our 25th anniversary and we had a 25th anniversary stamp-type logo made.

2013's theme was colorful. We used pastel colors (the mix that matters) and a tree with colorful leaves represented TCM branching out with 25 years in the making, 25 years of winners.

2012's theme used warm orange, brown and gold. A young boy in old flight goggles showing innovation was used as the theme.

2011's theme was classic using maroon, gold and silver and used a dinner plate with technology and life science symbols.
