What we do
This will be a clean, corporate logo.. nothing cute or cartoony. There are a lot of elements they are throwing at us.. all of them stuffed in one will be tricky.. so pick out what you think will work according to their statement below:
"The firm name is Aegis Global Investment Partners. Our firm principles are designed around the Golden Rules designed to help Main Street against Wall Street. Our heritage includes guys from Scotland and France.
Since we named the firm after the shield of Zeus we were hoping to have a modern shield incorporating gold (golden rules) and blue (blue collar). Additionally, if we can add the Fleur-de-Lis and St. Andrews Cross as well as the Bull and Bear (we don't expect to see them in our stationary - good enough for us to know that they're there) in the rivets of the shield that would be great."
So seems like they are looking for a shield type look with the elements above included in the shield.. if you have other ideas feel free to present them.
