This contest is for a logo for the subsidiary to the Butte Schools Self-Funded Programs. Logo design for this should be complimentary to the Butte Schools SElf-Funded Programs.
See the current logo example, components of which MAY but are not mandatory to be carried over to the new design:
The apple symbolizes the schools which BSSP serves.
The curent logo includes the Cadeceus, which is often incorrectly used as a symbol for medicine or doctors. The Rod of Aclepius may be more appropriate.
BSSP is working towards a more visible wellness focus and would like the new logo to embody that focus as well.
Letters or words may be included in the logo design.
Our coverage extends to employees' family members so they should be represented as well.
Colors: Current logo is mono-chromatic and red. The new logo may be multi-colored and should be based on color scheme symbolizing health (blues and greens) rather than red. Red may be included.
Member agencies are exclusively within BUtte County, California. The shape of the county may also be included in the logo.
