The target audience
Anyone trying to break into Japan's stodgy market whose interested in doing things in new and innovative ways. We are anything but the "Good Old Boys" network. We are always months, years head of trends and want people who think the same way to work with us.
We are Japan only. Most of our clients are "cool": Think companies who like imagery that relates to: sex; gambling; night life; alcohol; travel; excitement. Our clients are not Japanese companies, but foreign companies breaking into Japan market!

We like these fonts, colors and style
Simple but catchy. Not too busy. How about a jet plane, rocket, spaceship (perhaps)?

Want "Pop" sense. We are in entertainment business too! Something dangerous and wild is wanted. What would a goriila (geurilla) with a crew cut (punk cut) and sunglasses look like, ala Joe Strummer of the Clash?

Need more fun and excitement! Sexy! Wild! Dangerous and willing to take chances... That's us!

16 years of doing the punk/underground music thing in Japan - now we branch out into more serious business and are handling PR and advertising for airlines, beer, car racing tires, and pizza...

UPDATE! In Japan, logos are used in ink stamps. This was just pointed out to me by the accounting department... Hence some of the really good logos that several of us liked have been eliminated as they would be difficult to reproduce on a rubber stamp.

Moral of the story being that we need strong lettering.
