We are a safety and industrial supply distributor with customers that range from government and hospitals, to construction firms and oil companies. We are in need of a new updated logo! Please grace us with your talent!

Our customers are mostly male and range in age from 25-60. They work in many different industries such as Government , Construction, Contractors, Gas & Oil Companies, Industrial Plants, Farms, Labs, etc. We deal with smaller companies, all the way up to billion dollar companies, so the logo needs to appeal to both ends of the spectrum.

The new logo needs to meet the following requirements...

- Needs to incorporate our business name: "Empire Safety & Supply", but you can also play around with just using "Empire Safety" or our acronym "ESS"
- Use the colors Black, Red (Optional: White & Silver)
- Can easily be tweaked to be used on both light and dark backgrounds
- Has the ability to look decent in grayscale
- The look should be industrial & tough yet clean & simple
- As you can see on our website we use a slab-serif font, but are also open to sans-serif
- We like the look of a badge/seal sort of logo (we like Ergodyne's logo... [Login to view URL]), but are definitely open to and would like to see other ideas.
- In 2012 we celebrated our 20-year anniversary... you can include something to that effect if you'd like

Final logo needs to be in .eps or .ai format (we have Illustrator CS5 - so the file must be saved for that version or lower).
