What we do
Our company has two parts. First, we buy vintage luxury items at good prices (mostly clothing) and either sell them online (through our trendy online store) or distribute them to our clients all over the world (sometimes other retailers). We seem to specialize in either trendy vintage luxury items (like Chanel purses or Ugg boots) or cool new products from companies who may not have properly marketed their products or haven't caught on yet with the general public.
The second part of our company is we buy cool fabrics (like denim) or products from companies going out of business or liquidating their materials and repurpose them into other items such as bags, clothing, furniture, etc. An example of this would be old canvas US Post Office mail bags from the 1920s that we are turning into tables, pillows, etc.

Things to communicate through the design
1. Trendsetter
2. Hip/Cool
3. Vintage

The target audience
We cater to both men & women. Our clients are young (18-34 years old), and into fashion and the latest trends. We seem to have a pretty big hipster following. Our clients are upper middle class to wealthy, but DEFINITELY are NOT snobby. They seem to like the old school classic look and are nostalgic for years past (anywhere from the 1800's, the 1920s or 1950s and 60s). They live in big cities in the USA, Western Europe, or Japan. Our male clients are the type of guys who go to barber shops (but trendy ones), roll their own cigarettes, and own a record player. Our female clients would rather own a cool, old, worn Chanel purse from the 1960s than the latest Coach bag or Louis Vuitton. I would imagine a lot of our clients own classic cars or would rather drive a Mini Cooper over a brand new Mercedes Benz.

We like these fonts, colors and style
We are open to seeing any designs just nothing on a colored or black background. Keep the background the transparent/white but feel free to use any combination of colors in the logo itself (You can try to make it colorful or simple and monochrome). We were thinking of somehow incorporating the presence of a clock into the logo but please include your own thoughts and ideas even if they don't include this element (for our other company we ended up going with an idea that was nothing like what we thought we initially wanted, so come with your own fresh ideas). Just think of what we are trying to convey, and remember our audience. Be creative! Happy designing!

Our design will be used on
(Web)  (Print Media)  (Billboards & Signs)  (Television)  (Mugs & Tshirts)

Additional Info Added Jun 26, 2013
Let's try to keep things simple. Focus on a really elegant font with a vintage feel. Also, if you do incorporate graphics keep them relatively simple and maybe try something like 3 gears like you would see in a timepiece
