The target audience

Our audience will be small business owners in the Midwest. I would guess average age will be 35-55 and made up of people of both genders.
Mostly people who are not very tech savvy.

We like these fonts, colors and style

We are in search of a clean design (does anyone ever ask for a cluttered one??) We want to stand out from sites featuring stock photos. We want to come across as friendly and approachable but not goofy.

We want to incorporate a spiderweb but not have it overwhelm the design. Maybe a thin, dark colored web.
The Smashing Websites slogan would be nice to include but only if it does not make the design too busy.

Colors...we like green but are not married to it. We would also like a white or clear background.
