The major role for the Butte County Office of Education is to provide quality educational programs for all students in Butte County and be responsive to the needs for efficient and cost effective assistance and support to the school district's educational operations.
We serve early childhood to adult; our services include partnerships that expand human, financial and program services with schools, public and private agencies.
We provide direct services to assist students and to see that all children in Butte County receive appropriate educational services through alternative programs, educational services for the disabled, counseling, vocational training, juvenile court and community schooling, independent study and charter schools.
We develop unique programs, offering technical assistance and professional development throughout Northern California to support technology, after school programs, reading instruction, and district improvement.
We provide supplementary educational, direct instructional services, tutoring, and support services to eligible migrant students.

The target audience
Leaders in Education and Technology, located within community, agencies, schools, districts, state, federal, colleges, all counties throughout California. Parents/Students (we serve early childhood to adult).

Artistic, simple, flowing, unique design that incorporates color, movement, growth, innovation.
A design that captures a representation of both the local natural landscape and education.
Natural earthy colors; also needs to look good when printed black/white.
We are in the midst of developing a new website; the color scheme will be russet brown as the main color, with olive green as secondary.
