What we do
Lota is a network of partner yoga studios. Students can buy a package of classes called the Karma Card from Lota that is accepted at all of these studios. Lota is also a community - it hosts yoga gatherings and donates to charitable yoga-oriented organizations.

Lifestyle: Wants healthy living and an alternative to gyms/cardio/weights. They turn to yoga and now want flexibility, simplicity, and fun. A sense of community is also important to this market.
We like these fonts, colors and style
The focus of the logo is the name of the card, Karma Card. We are interested to see if it works to bring in the company name, Lota, or the phrase, "by Lota", into the logo. Please submit a version with and without Lota in your design initially, and we will give guidance as the contest continues as to whether this element should be included or not.
This logo will be used on our website, advertising materials, and on a magnetic-stripe card. We want people to feel happy when they see the logo. They should feel like they are about to have fun doing yoga and being part of a community.
We really like the look of logos that have a hidden element, such as Amazon and Fedex.
Bonus if the design works well as a silhouette, since we will likely do 1-color printings onto advertising materials in the future.
