The target audience
The main target are parents, and predominately moms. Our clients are generally middle class to upper middle class, well educated and sophisticated. However, we also need for the logo to be recognizable and fun for the kids. It is important for the logo to be clear that we are a quality medical facility and not just a doc in the box. An average logo implies average care. An extraordinary logo implies extraordinary care.
We like these fonts, colors and style
It needs to be child friendly, but not childish. Simple bubble letters over a star is not going to cut it. We would like to have the word "starlight" be featured, and would love to have a kid friendly logo character made out of the star. The character needs to have a personality, not just a face on a star. The words "pediatric urgent care" should be less prominent than "starlight", and may be in a less prominent font. Stay away from pastels - should not look like an easter egg ad. I imagine that blues and reds will be featured, but use your imagination. Please avoid using every color - gets very expensive to reproduce.
The logo should capture the attention of a family driving by, making mom and the kid want to know more.
My previous company was
[Login to view URL] - you can see what kind of logo we had. Please do not attempt to mimic the old logo - I sold that company and if the new logo looks like the old some lawyers are going to come after me. I loved our character and name on the old logo, but not the use of so many colors.
