Clean Water and Education - Children helping Children
What we do
Awesome Wells is a charity that enables and funds schools in 3rd world countries to have a clean water well for their children. Funds are raised by schools in developed countries. The project is assisted by University Engineering faculties with innovative low cost wells, and the Rotary and Interact Worldwide communities. Children in sponsoring schools adopt a needy school and raise funds using social technologies (facebook etc) to assist their sponsored school to build the well.

Things to communicate through the design
1. The simplicity of a hand operated well/water pump
2. blue clean water
3. children helping children, global, charity eco-friendly
The target audience
To recruit Global developed country schools (Teenagers & university aged) with a sense of community giving to aid these poorer countries (Afghanistan etc)
We like these fonts, colors and style
I like the clean and recognisable lines of a simple hand-pumped well (eg.

a sense of clear blue water, and perhaps a clever representation of the words "Awesome Wells" incorporated as a Logotype.
Note: the clever play on words - Awesome Wells sounds like Orson Wells, but is unrelated
No wishing well type designs
Need a fairly symmetrical logo that can be represented vertical and horizontal (perhaps by repositioning the words)
Would like a sense of charity and eco-friendly, sustainability, friendship in the design
Like elegant simplicity and clever integrated design concepts like...
