What we do
Horizon League Gaming is my prototype league in video gaming, more specifically, a video game called Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Competitive gaming is quickly becoming a trend among the gaming community and I wanted to create a league that is easily accessible to the average gamer but who is into competitive gaming or just starting to be interested in it. A lot of the funding for this League is coming out of my pocket but it's an investment that I feel is necessary and I'll do everything for the right reason to make it a reality.

The target audience
Horizon League Gaming is about bringing in mature, sportsmanlike and dedicated players who want to be in the spotlight at the level of amateur status. We're trying to target people 18 and up to join the league, primarily those who are located in the United States.
We like these fonts, colors and style
For the base of the logo, I would love to see a shield that is different but similar in some way to the National Football League shield. I really like that sharp detailed font that's noticeable but isn't too crazy. Futuristic, simple, sleek font with a little bit of a glossy look, but like I said, nothing too crazy. As for color, I'd like to see the red, white and blue in the background of the shield. As a different approach to the colors I would even like to see them inside the HLG lettering. I'm looking for a logo that looks powerful, bold but something that looks fresh and new. Like the moment you buy a powerful new sports car and smell that new car smell when you get in it and hearing that powerful roar of the engine the second it starts. If you're an artist with an imagination that can convey sight, sound, smells onto a logo, you are getting a really good sense of what I mean here.

This League is very important, please keep the submissions coming!
Please don't hesitate to add things to the boarder in or around the shield. We want a POWERFUL logo that looks strong and professional. Something that represents what a League needs in their logo.
We don't mind the 3D look for the shield and the fonts. We definitely want 6 stars somewhere near 'HLG' but please don't round the stars. Make them sharp. We'd also like it if you tried different variations of the 6 stars and where they go but please make them always near 'HLG'.
Furthermore, we want 'Horizon League Gaming' under 'HLG'. It adds more depth to the logo and is something we most certainly will be looking for in our #1 Winner.
We'd also like to see your variations of the logo with or without a Laurel Wreath Vector.
As for the Shield picture we provided: We just want something similar in design to that, NOT exactly like that picture. The Shield we want should also not have the bolts that the picture has. It wouldn't go well with what we want.
