What we do
I am a balloon artist. I am looking for a logo that is fun and professional. I have been promoting myself more as an entertainer than a balloon twister. I am NOT a clown. I have a competitor that has a logo that I really like. You can see at
[Login to view URL] The logo doesn't have to be a cartoon, but I like the cartoon aspect of it.
I am not a "balloon pirate" but the logo is bright, crisp, and fun. I would hire him just off that logo.
The logo is going on a round 3" business card. I will also put it on my cart that I hold my balloons in. I use a round card because it is quirky. Round cards stick out when you try to put them in a wallet or purse made for rectangle cards. Round cards fit in, while standing out, and that describes that feel that I am looking for.
The name of by company is Jay Dee Productions. I have branded myself in this market wear a bowler hat and glasses (Wheres Waldo looking glasses), a loose tie with a vest, black slacks and dress shoes. I do extreme balloon art including caricatures of people, and famous cartoon characters.
I am attaching a file of what I am using currently for my business card, I am no longer happy with it.

The target audience
The logo will be going on a (round) business card, mostly given to parents of children ages 0-12 and to HR directors who would hire me for cooperate events.
I also plan to put the logo on my balloon crate, which I use to hold all of my balloons. I plan to make it into a sticker, and maybe into a car magnet.
We like these fonts, colors and style
I would like something clean and crisp, yet fun and quirky.
I attached a copy of the card I have been currently using.
My current card is quirky, but it's not that crisp or fun.

I deleted the attachment that I was currently using as a logo and biz card. I am tired of that logo, it was something that a friend made for me years ago, and was looking for something fresh and new. Most of the entries so far have been variations of that logo. I am looking for something with color and life. I am an artist, and am really looking for some bright creative fresh. I work with kids, and pass my card out to moms and event organizers. I am looking for something you would see off of a Nickelodeon cartoon. (check out "Walden" from Wow Wow Wubbzy, or Umizoomi, Bubble Guppies, Lalaloopsy)
The card should say "my kids will have fun if I hire this entertainer" Bright colors.
Remember it is going on a round card.
