What we do
We do residential and commercial roof replacements (reroofs), roof repairs and new construction roofs. We can do work on composition shingle, wood shake, tile, slate and metal high sloped roofs. We also do work on flat roofs on commercial buildings where we use single ply (rubber), modified (rolled roofing) and built up (hot mopped or torched) materials.

The target audience
Homeowners, business/building owners/managers, commercial contractors. These people would be between 30 - 65. Most are between 40 - 60 years old that I deal with. Most are male that are making the decisions on who to use for roofing projects.
My work is in the Dallas - Fort Worth area. Most have at least some post secondary education. They are all looking for a professional company that is going to do the job correctly and have very good service. But this is construction and roofing - there must be a powerful bold element to the logo.
We like these fonts, colors and style
I like the color blue for the loyalty dependability, confidence, productivity. I like black for the power and style. I like red for some energy. I would like to see what the designers come up with.
Remember it is construction/roofing. I want people to look at this logo and instantly know it is a roofing company. The logo will go on my truck.
The truck is white so it will be a blank canvass.

Here is my response to a friend who asked me what I want the logo to say.
I would like the logo to separate me from the yahoos that blow into town when a storm hits. Professional look - clear - simple design. The plan is to service the heck out of people - make the process of replacing their roof after a storm easy. We are the easy button - handle insurance paperwork - make sure your insurance company is paying for everything that is damaged - help the customer through what can be a tough time. Integrity - Professional - Service Oriented - Full Service Roofing company.
