What we do
Oasis Mental Health provides professional mental health services with integrity and respect for the individual.
Finding a mental health provider is often a first and very important step in a journey toward becoming the person our clients want to be, reaching the goals they want to achieve, and managing the symptoms that have hindered them in that process. At Oasis, we understand how difficult and sometimes anxiety provoking that first step is, and as a result will always treat our clients with the utmost respect, courtesy and integrity.
More often than not, our clients leave with a sense of hope, comfort, safety, and even exhilaration after the very first session. Professional therapy will offer them relief, reassurance, and insights that will them you make the decisions that are right for them.

Things to communicate through the design

2. Personal growth/inner peace
3. Integrity/respect for the individual person
The target audience
Consider the definition of Oasis:
"A pleasant or peaceful area or period in the midst of a difficult, troubled, or hectic place or situation."
Many of our new and existing clients are in an emotionally vulnerable state and seek support, encouragement, hope, and relief through professional therapy. They can be both male and female, adults (18-70) seeking help for themselves, or parents seeking help for their troubled children/adolescents (5-17).
We like these fonts, colors and style
As the name suggests, Oasis needs to exude calm and peace so colors and design should match that concept. Also, the logo need to be able to be easily converted to grayscale as some billing forms don't accept color to be printed.
I tentatively envision a logo that may constitute of one or more (minimalistic/abstract) human figure(s) that form the trunk and branches of a luscious "tree" but I'm open for other suggestions -- I certainly don't want to stifle your creativity!
Please do not provide a logo with only a single palm tree, that conjures up ideas of tropical islands or spas, which is NOT the message we want to convey. Thanks!!!
Also, our (draft!) website has dashes in the name (oasis-mental-health.com) and it would be nice if the dashes can be replaced with a part of the logo (ie the "head" of the human figures for example) in the display of the name, but that's also just an option that can be replaced or discarded as fit. On envelopes, the addition "mental health" need to be able to be removed, i.e the envelope would just say "Oasis", because people are very aware who is seeing the envelope and frequently don't want their mailman to know that they are getting a bill from a "mental health" place. However, "mental health" is and should be part of the name and logo when it comes to the front of the building or letters to other healthcare providers or insurance companies.
