There will likely be another company to start up within a specific area of construction that will be using the winning design as the basis for it's logo also - giving the impression of an Alliance group.

We like these fonts, colors and style
Colours - open to ideas. Clean, fresh, environmental. No yellows, pinks, purples or soft pastels.
As mentioned at the top of the brief the logo will be adapted slightly in the future with only the "ALLIANCE" remaining (e.g Alliance Asbestos Removal).
Modern font. No script font. No skyscrapers or cubes or blocks. Perhaps an abstract element of a building or house only or a simple illustrative element.
