What we do
Episcopal church serving a community of about 50,000 in Central Texas. Extensive outreach and ministry programs. A mix of retirees, working professionals and young families. Strong ties to Southwestern University, which is across the street.

The target audience
We want the logo to capture the interest of people who are not yet a member of the church. This is a very diverse audience though; college students, young families, working adults and retirees. Religiously, socially and politically it is also a very diverse group, running the gamut from liberal to conservative. We must try to appeal equally while being consistent and clear in our three messages above
We like these fonts, colors and style
Something timeless/classic – in the darker reds with black /blue/white as acceptable other colors. I’d like to stick with the anchor with the cross on the stem motif so that there is some tie to the church
