The target audience
Our logo will not target any specific audience because our mission is to provide recreational opportunities for people of all ages, family structure, income, gender, or ethnic origin. Obviously, we want to communicate to our audience that Huntsville Parks & Recreation is fun, safe, healthy, and active!
We like these fonts, colors and style
I've attached some logos that we like to the contest. Please refer to those logos for ideas. Disregard that most of the logos are green. Although we wouldn't mind a green logo, our main focus regarding color is finding something that will show well on black & white, as well as in color. I also attached a logo someone was designing for us, but the individual ran out of time to complete (we like elements of this logo, but would not want this as our final design).

I've increased the amount for the contest. I'm looking for a logo that incorporates the Huntsville and sport/athletic theme. The designs I've seen so far are exceptional, but I'm looking for something with more going on.
Please try to DE-EMPHASIZE the trees from being the focal points of the logos. Refers to the recreation_sample images attached to the contest. Thanks.
