Sicilian Connections unites Italian communities across the world. We aim to make Italians and second/third generation Italians feel closer to home and also promote the island of Sicily worldwide.

The target audience
The members of our network enjoy belonging to an Italian community even though they are thousands of miles away from Italy. Most have visited Sicily many times or are longing to go there soon to investigate their heritage.
We like these fonts, colors and style
My favourite way to represent Sicily is the idea of the town of Taormina on a summer afternoon. I love bright pink bougainvillea flowers and the azure Mediterranean Sea.
Sicilian Connections is not a holiday company however, therefore I want to avoid a clichéd travel image and focus on the feeling of sitting in the piazza listening to mandolin players.
It is important to stay away from mafia-related stereotypes of Sicily and Sicilians.
I would like to feature a tiny hint of a sprig of green pistachio somewhere, simply to represent 'Bronte pistacchio'.

Thank you so much for the designs that have come in - I am so happy with the quality of work.
The ideas and colors that have come in are very eye-catching and warm which is what I was looking for. I would love to see some designs that reflect the atmosphere of the photos that I have provided but are not replicas of the images ..... perhaps some more innovative ideas that use my preferred colors but offer something outside the set guidelines.
