What we do
Higher Ground Equine Veterinary Service will open later this year in the mountains of western North Carolina. It will serve horse owners in several of the mountain counties. Services offered will include general medicine, lameness evaluation, dentistry, reproduction, chiropractic, and emergency.

The target audience
The target audience is horse owners in the area, which vary in age and income. There are many different breeds and disciplines of horses. For example barrel racing owners tend to be more rural/country, while dressage horse owners are frequently women who are wealthy and well educated. I want the logo to be generic enough to appeal to all of them.
We like these fonts, colors and style
I would like a combination of a horse and mountain scape.(horse standing or striding in front of or on a mountain or blended into a mountainscape) A competitor in the area has a logo where the curves of the horse's back appears to be a mountain range. The name Higher Ground Equine should elicit thoughts of the mountain area, a higher level of service, and even a higher spiritual connotation. The logo will be used on letterhead, on the decal on the truck, and possibly on my uniform. Because it will be used as such, it should not be over detailed and should be fairly abstract.
I'm not particular on color or font.
