What we do
The Prehospital Institute of New & Emerging Sciences (P.I.N.E.S.) is a non-profit corporation that wishes to promote the advancement of prehospital care and Emergency Medical Services. We provide scholarship programs and/or education for public safety personnel, veterans, and/or their families in the event of the former being unable to work or if the same dies in the line of duty or service. We will also fund EMS Research and build simulation facilities in the future.

We like these fonts, colors and style
The logo should be classy, but modern. Green (dark/forrest), gold/yellow, or silver should be included in the PINES name. I would like to be able to use this logo within patches to be worn on the uniforms of students of our Emergency Medical Services education programs which operate as the P.I.N.E.S. EMS Academy. These programs fund the scholarship accounts. Also, the logo will eventually be used for branding as well. It is not absolutely necessary that all the words be included. We have considered using the "PI" alone as a logo with "New & Emerging Sciences appearing beneath or elsewhere.
I suppose we're pretty open...
Our design will be used on

I want to thank all designers for their submissions. We are close, but not quite there yet...
CONTEST REOPENED
Please think outside the box...
DESIGNS DO NOT HAVE TO BE ROUND...
Perhaps the three words don't lend themselves to the creative process.
Try "Emergency Medicine, Health/safety, Education/excellence." Try to step out of the mold we previously set...
