What we do
We are an art exchange/brokerage connecting high-level art buyers direct with native artists within the aboriginal communities in Canada. With an eye towards strengthening the native community and connecting talented artists with potential buyers they would not otherwise connect with, we hope to not only spread the word about high-quality aboriginal art but also provide a number of benefits to the aboriginal community.
Industry: Retail
Things to communicate through the design
1. Professionalism and Modern Appeal
2. Warm and Inviting
3. Image and Appeal of the "Spirit Bear"
The target audience
Our target audience is high-end art customers looking for unique pieces of work direct from the aboriginal community. A mature, experienced, educated, and well-off demographic is what we are ideally going after but we would still love the logo to promote the idea of the aboriginal community being the focal point and most important. A high end, yet non-profit type feel if that makes any sense
We like these fonts, colors and style
The spirit bear image and what it stands for should be the focal point. Dark contrasting colors, blues and black, and then any other components that you feel would work well. We prefer leaving this open to your creativity rather than demand specifics.
We have attached a low quality image of the spirit bear to give a rough idea of what we like.
