Designer Terms and Code of Conduct

What LogoMyWay strives to give Designers

- Great logo designs and great contests.
- Fairness and respect to all designers.
- Promotion and recognition for the designers.
- A Professional, fun and friendly design community.

1. Only post ORIGINAL work.

Please no clipart or tracing images, You must come up with 100% of your artwork. Your design must be unique to LogoMyWay.
Do not copy other designers concepts and submit them as your own.

NO CLIPART EVEN IF YOU OWN THE RIGHTS - NO ISTOCKPHOTO, SHUTTERSTOCK, etc.
VECTOR ONLY - No Photoshop - Use Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw etc
Do Not recycle any design elements from your winning logo. This is considered clip-art.

2. Deliver the correct files when you win a contest.

Please design in a true vector program such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. Submit the final file in .EPS format. Photoshop PSDs are NOT ACCEPTABLE. Winner Entry Submission must be submitted in .EPS format with fonts converted to outlines, along with specifically sized .JPG. Make sure the Contest Holder is happy and deliver any requested variations.
LogoMyWay withholds a small fee of 10% from the prize money that goes towards Marketing, Maintenance and Development.

If you can not deliver the proper EPS the staff of LMW will have to recreate the logo and deliver it to the client. This will result in a $50 to $100 deduction from your pay depending on what's involved. If you do not respond to the clients revisions another designer will step in and make the changes and receive 50% of the prize money.

PAYMENTS: If you are a 1st time winner payment will go out 30 to 45 days. After the payment probation period all other contests you win will be sent within 24 to 48 hours.

Any charge back or reversal of prize money during or after a contest will be taken down without pay. Once we secure the funds again it will be brought back online.

Logomyway has the right to hold any payment up 15 or 30 days. This is to insure the payment clears.

3. Please be nice.

There are many great designs submitted to all contests. Please do not take it personal if someone does not like your design.
1. Please do not ask clients to look at your designs.
2. Please do not post external links to your designs.
3. Please always be polite and respectful to clients and designers.
4. Please do not discuss copied designs on the contest pages. Contact the admin with any issues you might have.
5. Please do not showcase logos in your portfolio that are set to "private".

4. Make sure your designs are not offensive.

Please make sure that your designs do not include anything that could be offensive or illegal.

5. Read the Design Brief carefully.

Please read the Design Brief carefully. If you still have questions about the design you can post a comment on the contest page.

6. Transferring ownership of your winning design.

Once a Contest Holder has selected you as a winner, you are required to upload the completed logo to the Contest Holder. Once the contest holder approves the files LMW will send you the prize money. )
All users of the Services must be 18 years of age or older. By creating a User Account, you represent and warrant to LogoMyWay that you are 18 years of age or older and you can form legally binding agreements under applicable law.

7. Submission Guidelines.

You should not accept instructions from clients if those instructions violate the code of conduct. It's not okay to copy elements from other designs even if the client asks you.

All users of the Services must be 18 years of age or older. By creating a User Account, you represent and warrant to LogoMyWay that you are 18 years of age or older and you can form legally binding agreements under applicable law.

You must treat all work for clients/buyers as confidential. You can not use designs in your portfolios and can not disclose information about those projects without the consent of the client/buyer.

If you work on multiple projects at once you should avoid conflicts of interest. Do not submit the same or similar designs simultaneously to multiple projects.

8. Starting A Logo Dispute.

If you feel someone has copied your design, contact the admin. You will see a link on the contest page that allows you to start a "logo dispute". You must send the name of the contest and the numbers of the logos that will be included in the dispute. We do not allow designers to talk about copied designs on the contest page. Please start a "logo dispute" if you have issues with other designers. Contact Admin

NEVER contact a Contest Holder regarding any disputes. Contact the admin and we will handle the dispute with the Contest Holder.

9. Uploading A Logo.

NO CLIPART EVEN IF YOU OWN THE RIGHTS - NO ISTOCKPHOTO, SHUTTERSTOCK, etc.
Upload 350x280 pixels or (width/height ratio of 1.25:1) in JPG, PNG, or GIF format
VECTOR ONLY - No Photoshop - use Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw etc.
Only one logo per upload (multiple designs are encouraged but need to be uploaded separately).
No watermarks or borders around your design.
Neatly centered both horizontally and vertically with spacing all around.
Your design must be created in a vector program such as Adobe Illustrator, and the final files MUST be delivered in .EPS format.
Logomyway Support or Moderator's may remove entries without notice that violate these terms.

We have the right to delete or block any account on Logomyway for any reason without notice.
Some reasons might be Quality, Clip Art or Suspicious Activity.
