| Hi
THanks for all the entries so far. We actually need a logo for Windows 7 AND for Windows 8 i.e. two logos, which can look the same. The entries so far are ok as it will be easy to remove the '&8' part of the logos.
Looking good so far!!!

| I quote this from rickinnocal from Yahoo! Answers:
The "Windows" logo is a registered trademark. You cannot duplicate it without permission. If you are a MS licensee - a retailer of their products or a certified system engineer, for example - then your license will give you information about the terms under which you can use the logo.
If you are not a licensee, then you can't use it at all. (And yes, Microsoft DOES enforce their trademarks - vigorously.)

| There is no problem using/recreating/modifying MS Windows logo for Windows education purpose. All you need to worry about is that you don't create something that's not MS Windows like. For instance - don't use Superman movie fonts for title :). As long as you stay with MS Identity you should be fine.. em i right? |
