About This Logo Designer:
I come from Corfu, one of the greatest islands in Greece where i was educated free hand drawing and painting at the local art school for about 10 years.
I now live in Athens and work as a freelance graphic designer.
I've been following my favorite teachers' ideas who has been working with me on my BA course in Graphic Design and is a crazy minimalist and a 'Swiss design lover'.
So I have become one myself (and i like it)!
Logo design is my favorite part of this job because of its importance. The more inspirational a contest is, the more imagination is flowing from every cell of the designer's entity and i'm glad when i get caught somewhere in between.
I need to thank each one of you who chose me to blabber as if i was some kind of president. Keep creativity on top.

Being chosen as Best Logo design or designer for the month of march 2012,(which is beyond my wildest dreams) is quite a big achievement and blessings for me.
Thanks to all LMW people for this recognition, God Bless to all.

About This Logo Designer:
I'm a freelance designer, illustrator and lettering artist living in Cincinnati, Ohio.
I absolutely love what I do, and through tournaments such as LMW I can have the freedom to submit
my designs directly to the client, rather than a gauntlet of creative directors and design managers.
I worked for a design firm for a number of years with major brands and companies, but felt restricted by the process.
Now, being on my own, I have the luxury of dealing directly with people from all over the country.
I still work with a lot of major brands, but also very small businesses and clients that need the same
level of work that is done for the major companies. My biggest passion is lettering and logos and with sites like LMW I
get to compete with some of the best artists out there. I am constantly learning from others by observation and continue
to develop my skills along the way. You can never stop growing. Thanks for the recognition.

About This Logo Designer:
Hello, I'm freelance graphic designer known as gPhoto. My name is Gedas Meskunas I live and work in a small EU country - Lithuania. Although I've been working with computer design and photography for 8 years but with logos and brand identity I've been working just for 2 years. So I could say that I'm beginner in this sphere but I'm quick to learn.
This work is as an example. Now I'm specializing in creation of logos and brand identity.
More works you can see here: www.gphoto.eu
Thank for Logomyway for giving the opportunity to learn this kind of work and improve my logo creation skills.
Logo "MAXIMUM cleaning service" was created for the competition in Logomyway.
I always like to create funny and at the same time solid logos which speak by itself. In my opinion, this logo is one as an example.

About This Logo Designer:
martin+rose are Martin Lewis and Rosemary Casaceli.
After roughly 15 years in the illustration, design and print industry (10 years together). We thought it was time to set off on our own journey of design discovery.
We started martin+rose about one and a half years ago. Illustration and design is what we love to do. Whether it is for print or multimedia, we love the challenges that each brief presents.
When we stumbled upon LogoMyWay, we decided to join simply to brush up on a few skills that we had let slide. We weren't too concerned with winning. We just wanted to get better at our core skills. I think it's also a great way to expose yourself to a lot of talent and learn from a great group of people.
Being very competitive, both Rose and I are grateful that LMW exists to give us the opportunity to fight our logo battles. The only rule we have is not to enter contests that the other has entered. Oh! And no copying each others ideas. ;D
What we did learn early though, was to make sure you have a great time making logos.
If you enjoy the challenges that a logo contest throws up, then it shows in your logos.
The Minerva logo made me smile from the initial sketch to the final artwork. I knew as soon as I completed it that I was going to enter it into logo of the month. And now this racing car has given me another reason to smile.
Thanks to everybody at LMW. Especially the forum regulars and Joe. You guys help us learn and grow as designers.

About This Logo Designer:
Jeff has worked in the graphic design field since 1993, serving 10 years in the garment printing industry, and 7 years in the newspaper industry.
He is also a self-published christian author, researcher and founder of Sword-In-Hand Publishing. Jeff's design experience has taken him from t-shirt design and illustration,
to magazine, book cover, and newspaper advertising, pagination and layout. In August 2010, Jeff launched his own online design studio www.logoplanetlab.com so he could focus exclusively on
the aspect of graphic design which he loves the most - logo design. "I've always loved logos and logo design." Mardis says, "But it wasn't until I stumbled across LogoMyWay.com that I discovered my intense passion for the niche.
I won the first logo contest I entered, and it's been no looking back since then.
I'd like to thank LogoMyWay for helping me to see where my design strengths lie, and for the great opportunity their contests have provided.
I've meet so many wonderful and talented designers, the whole experience has really kept me on my toes and challenged me to be the best I can be." Concerning his love and passion for field Jeff said; "Logos must convey a big idea in a small package.
They must communicate the entire feel and spirit of the companies they represent into one, single, simple, compact graphic representation - and that's not always easy. But for me, therein lies the love and challenge." Jeff says his underlying philosophy
for logo design is simple - literally - saying that Leonardo da Vinci summed it up best when he stated; "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication."

About This Logo Designer:
I have more than 10 years experience in graphic design, mostly print media for the music industry in Colombia.
Logomyway has been a great school to develop new skills and very useful finding my own graphic language. It actually has contributed in making me a better designer.
It can be frustrating sometimes, but really exciting when it works.
I think logos should have an intimate relation with business name, that is why I find so difficult to design stock logos. I like to incorporate elements that are out of context at first sight. Logos that make you stop for a second to find a connection. Sometimes ideas come easy, sometimes you can struggle the whole day for nothing.
Thickr logo was one of those ideas that come easily. I love its simplicity and how its is very balanced having 6 font weights.

About This Logo Designer:
For me, the most important thing about branding (and advertising) is:
Empathy.
Creativity can surprising, striking, but only empathy will build powerful,
long lasting, messages. The use of empathy during creation is the only way
to materialize the Client's feelings about his product and services, and the
client's public's feelings as well.
My family made me see the importance of Empathy very soon. It led me to pay
strong attention to all the subtleties around me, ultimately setting me at
an Advertising Creative Career, which I love. The communication
challenges that I face as a Creative Writer and Art Director are intriguing
an enjoyable.
That's what the River Stone logo is made of - Empathy. Lorraine's and Ted's
briefing was so plenty of emotions and personal perceptions that I felt like
being there, experiencing the place. The very idea came up "while" I was
reading the briefing, not after. Such a great and intuitive, yet functional,
experience.
I'm currently working at a Brazilian Advertising Agency where I achieved
more than 40 regional creative awards for Printed Ad's and tv commercials. I
also like to keep my 3D Modeling and Animation hobby sharp by making some
professional works for outside clients. But I got to say this: Logo design
wasn't something I was know to be good at, until I met Logomyway. The
quality level of the designers here are incredibly overwhelming and
inspiring. So many different branding perspectives, so many ways to convey
the same idea. Logomyway striped me of from my past achievement's pride - it
turned me into a student, and a fighter. Hey, it's the only place where we
got the chance to challenge your teachers. Thanks for this opportunity.
Cheers!

About This Logo Designer:
My name is Luis Jauregui, also known as "irish51"..
I am the founder of
www.five1design.com.
I am self-employed as a graphic designer, specializing in the fields of logo
design, corporate identity design, branding, web design, print design (ie. letterhead, business cards, posters, CD
covers, book covers, etc.) and
also dwell into many other areas such as photography and art.Graphic design to
me is more than just a job, it is a passion, and I count myself lucky to be one of the few people who get to
do what they love to do the most, and make a living doing it.
I have always loved logos that tell a story, and this is what I tried to
accomplish when designing the "pandastorm" logo.. and everyone that looks at it
probably gets a different idea of what that story is. That's really exciting.
I am grateful to logomyway.com
for giving me a source of unlimited projects to work on, even if I don't win all
of the projects i enter, in its self it is a great exercise for one's
creativity.. and as the saying goes, "practice makes perfect", so the more
contests and projects I enter, the more experience I gain as a logo designer and
a branding specialist.
