You say this, and yet you were JUST busted for using clip art form DeviantART in the Sherman Auto contest and you denied it even with overlay proof that you copied.

We sometimes put designers in QC so the community can vote. It's to get opinions and feedback to make sure it's a fair decision. I especially like to do this with the veteran designers just to see what the majority thinks. I hate when this happens but that last logo of the dog was a direct trace. The person who took that photo has the rights and could demand that logo not be used if the CH selected that logo.

I really like LJ. We are not singling her out and I wish we didn't have to do this, BUT it's also important the community understands we treat everyone the same and do not not show favoritism.

If there are other designer breaking the rules please report them and we will look into it and take the appropriate actions.

I think everyone deserves a second chance, any more obvious clip art and tracing disputes and then she should go. I vote to stay for now.

Hi. I belive the disputes should be taken more seriously by the admin of LMW.
The designers are not very objective when voting, from various reasons.
I belive the admin and his team should be the only people who can decide a dispute (no matter reason).

The two choices in voting are YES - TOO SIMILAR and NO - NOT SIMILAR ... well "similar" its a very very very disputable word. For example some while ago i saw a dispute 2-nd place disputing 1-st place ... wow... if the client voted that entry 1-st its pretty shure that entry has something diferent from the 2-nd place. (maybe a touch of finecce). In this case the dispute should not even been aproved.

I lost an contest (well i was second place) because i was acussed by tracing a tree (the tree was not traced it was a font-but this is not the point) ---- the point is the entry that won was EXACTLY LIKE MY design that was been takken down. By the time i saw the dispute somebody posted an exact copy of my design with an different tree. I wonder what would happend if i posted a new entry with my first design with an different tree?

This beeing said I WILL NOT VOTE.
I appeciate the LMW site and the hard work of the admin and his team.

I knew I wouldnt have a chance here, why would most of the designers here want to keep competition? I tried to delete my account here but couldnt find a way, so I took the past hour plus deleting all my designs I could from the past three years of work here, including my current 1st place and others in the runnings. I did leave up one specific one for Juppin, who so rudely commented on my design in Laundromutt after she blatenly stole my puppy with the halo over its head design! Which I had thought about disputing, but why? When people on here get it in for you, your dead. There are some good ones here,....Jones, Scol, you guys know who you are. Joe..........good luck man, you are not a very fair administrator, as you have let some nasty things go on here and did not protect your best designers. Best of luck to those of you who wish to stay. I am sure this will not be up for long. LJ

And I would like to know,........was this started by a client or a designer? Because it says above that a "client" sometimes will email the administration, but the disputes I was in, the clients seemed very happy with my design?

Clip art according to who? What do you consider alot tralumi? Please consider the length of time I have been on here and this is not court, this is just opinions of people that most do not take the time for the facts. How can I defend a talent? I would not steal from someone elses talent. I have been blessed with a talent to see and reproduce, sorry I used it here.

There are a few people i can think of who deserve to be here more than LJ. And for much more serious infractions like stealing logos (from here and other places). Tracing is one thing, theft is another. What about it admin? Lets see some of these other well deserving cheats here as well.

First off, in my defense, I should not have approached certain contests with the replies I made, especially when I am angry and frustrated. With that said, I have been on this site since 2011 and have a very small amount of disputes, many I have won compared to a lot of other designers that have been here a shorter period. Also I never steal from another designers ideas, yes I have used clip art in the beginning for time sake, but after being called on it I have not done it since. I do have a talent to draw what I see and can be too exact. A reference explanation was just posted on one of my disputes to clarify what is is exactly, we'll it said to first trace the subject then to manipulate it to the point of no recognition! To me that is still tracing and stealing the subject for your use! But I draw a few things the way I see them and I am accused of tracing or using clip art! I do not feel this is fair and it says nothing in the designers code of conduct about referencing a photo. There are so many very rude and design snatchers with way more disputes in shorter period of Time on here, so please, give me a break. Thanks said my peace. LJ

Two reasons - one is the obvious one - she lost a lot of disputes based on using clipart in her designs. Second - she is very rude, instead of politely defending herself she offends other designers saying that they don't have the required skills and that kind of stuff, which is really annoying because does not create breathtaking stuff also in my opinion.

That's why I voted that she's not right for LMW, according to the rules a professional designer has to know better than that.
