Company Name: Advancing Women Leaders in Supply Chain
Our Slogan:  AWLSC
What We Do: A non-profit newly formed association dedicated to helping women develop successful careers in the supply chain industry. Supply chain management spans all movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods from point of origin to point of consumption. It includes design, planning, execution and monitoring. Supply Chain is heavily involved in sustainability and green initiatives. Women are under represented in this industry and our organization seeks to help women network, gain access, education and become aware of supply chain career opportunities. We are about knowledge, know how and results.
Industry Type: Non-Profit

Top Three Things to Communicate Through Our Logo Design:
#1 Networking for women
#2 Education in Supply Chain
#3 Career Advancement

Our Target Audience:
The target audience is primarily educated career women with Bachelors or Masters Degree, but also will include men. These are affluent, educated, well traveled individuals. Most will have a supply chain background. We also are interested in attracting Fortune 500 sponsors. The logo should attract both executive women and aspiring women professionals. We want to be inclusive of men so the logo should not be about just women.

We Like These Designs. (fonts, colors, style):

Fresh, contemporary with emphasis on advancement, inclusion, progress and network building. Contemporary fonts that are clean and crisp. No traditional cursive. Use any colors you want but not gold or black. Like to see some in bright greens, blues, browns or navy. Can incorporate symbols that reflect movement and speed. Please do not use any visual of a "chain". We are open to designs that don't use the AWLSC initials..we want to see both with and without.

Our Design Will Be Used On:
Web,  Print Media,  Mugs & Tshirts

Additional Info Added on Jul 28, 2012
We like the use of contemporary symbols, globes that show motion. The colors that appeal are the blues, greens (not fluorescent) brown and orange as an accent. Would like to see some with orange. We don't want any stars or symbols that show female curves.

We like the designs that use globes to represent the worldwide view of supply chain. The globes that work best have motion but do not have planets circling the globe. When you add planets we start thinking of a science project. The AWLSC is becoming part of our favorite logos. Would like to see some variation using slightly darker colors or more variation in the globe design. Finding a way to use a global design that depicts diversity, motion and progress.

If any one would like to submit more concepts using the initials AWLSC, that would be helpful. The colors that work best are greens, blues and browns. The designs you have submitted are great.
